A Bridge Downtown

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!
We are back with this gallery. A nice summer ... a Monday in August ... a little bit time ... You can find a long, long bridge in downtown. Both sides are full of graffiti. The sun was shining bright and hundreds of people were there: Discussing in groups and bicycles, bicycles, bicycles ... It was nearly impossible to find a silent minute for one photo and I let it be and made quick shots to catch the atmosphere.

Much traffic on the bridge. It trembled so much (due to the traffic), that some photos are blurred, too. Maybe, I will come back on a silent Sunday ...

The other photos are from both sides of the bridge: A little quarter called: New City, but I think, it seems old, or not? Some tourist photos, too. Hope you have fun with it. So long!

A Siding and a Rear

We present a trip through a suburban siding with some trains behind a fence. Very, very, veeeryyy unfriendly people there and we went (very, veeeryyyy quickly) away. You can also see some graffiti from a wall, which we had photographed a year before. Find it in gallery 1: SAI-1 and SAI-2. We hope, you will enjoy the oversized panoramas, too. See you!

Downtown West

A trip to Downtown West. Meanwhile you know our city, yes? Similar graffiti, similar bridges ...

The logo VCU is a horror for many people here, and the police is on the hunt for the sprayers (The newspaper told it!).

They wrote: VCU sprays everywhere and keeps no wall white.

Yes, the VCU-Logo is on many walls, on tops. You can find many very nice and colourful graffiti on highway-bridges and noise-protection-walls. But there you can't stop your car for snapshots ...

At all: It is a dangerous job to spray. If they catch you in Germany, you are imprisoned for years and you have to pay a very high fine.

A lot of traffic today. Indeed too much, to make snapshots. Long time to wait for: No bicycle? No van? No car? Green traffic lights? ... I have to wait so long, that my old storage battery was nearly empty and the lens went back into the camera a dozen times.

In the park very dark, dark, dark people hang around and I have to hurry. Therefore you can only find wall snapshots with a lot of graffiti. Maybe I will deliver the detailed graffiti later.

I stop writing now. It was a long day with a long walk and now it is witching hour plus four. Nearly morning, yes? A big yawning ... :-)

Nearly 7 years later ...

Hallo, back again!
Nearly seven years passed. In 2017 we moved to a village fifty miles away. Only 170 inhabitants live in this marshland. The next town with a post office and a supermarket is more than five miles away. No graffiti anywhere, sorry. Only forest and fields. Our Graffi-Tours-Mobile is standing and rusting in front of our little bakehouse, where we are living. It has some problems with the cylinder head, is smoking like a steam engine and must be repaired. We plan to move again to an international metropole, but at first we have to finish the ongoing art projects. Then, the next era of graffiti photos may go on.

But now, I have a P R E S E N T for you.

I had time to convert the last photos we shot in February 2017. Enjoy it!
