Chroma Switchback

Falschfarbenwelten

Ich habe Kaustik in seichtem Wasser bewundert. Als ich dessen Strukturen mit digitaler Nachbearbeitung verstärkte, habe ich eine Serie phosphoreszierender Traumlandschaften erschaffen. Daraufhin weitete ich die Methode auf andere Sujets aus und fügte der Serie zyklopische Stillleben aus alten Heizrohren und Algen hinzu.

Von Anfang an habe ich diese Bilder als dokumentarische Objekte gesehen, wie alte Daguerrotypien. In der Komposition blieb ich im Bereich der Makrophotographie, da ich dachte, die Ameisenperspektive wäre ein wichtiger Bestandteil der Farbserpentinen-Ästhetik.
