A potpourri of nine faces, a real pell-mell. Nine faces tumble in one another and meet up in a bizarre formation. The colours are fairly monochrome blue to demonstrate their unit. But every mask has its own face and soul. Let’s begin our inquisitive examinations with the genie, who has innocent looking goggle eyes, chubby cheeks and an extremely jutting. An intellectual with raised brows and a trilling diva with beatific glance and backcombed hairs lines him. The artist let wander her fantasy with every mask: A severe sailor, an astonished ghost, a cheeky pussycat… Only the mask in the centre grimaces sadly. But why she posed this mask in the centre of the graphic? For that, the little mask on the right squeezes into the crowd and grina like a Cheshire cat. This is a typical world of Jolly Daubs: Complex profound and as the same time humourous.
